Specifically designed for Solar Hot Water Systems, these Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers are used in a closed loop system. By separating your Solar Collector Loop and the Potable Water Loop, you can use a Glycol Mix (food-grade anti-freeze) as an HTF (Heat Transfer Fluid) instead of water. This significantly improves the freeze protection of a Solar Hot Water System, and allows them to be used in Northern, Colder climates where freezing is a major concern during the fall, winter and early spring.

Our Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers can be used with both Evacuated Tube and Flat Plate Solar Collectors. These Heat Exchangers can be used for Domestic Hot Water and Radiant Heating Systems, and are perfect for most small to medium sized jobs.
